Where is my 12v when ignition key switch

Featured Replies

I only want my head unit to be powered when the ignition is on, since I am afraid that the battery will run low if I let the head unit stay powered over night. It lights up, and shows a clock, and does some display thingie, I think that takes too much power.

However all the wires have a constant 12 v on them? I attached a picture just for the illustration.

Anyone know if the ignition 12 v wire is to be found anywhere???

Have you tried the search before asking?????

This has been covered time and time again - There isn't one at the headunit as it's driven by CAN bus.

You need to run a wire from the fuse box.
