Headrest

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

the front left passenger seat headrest wont go in completely unlike the right one. i pulled

it and noticed it had longer legs compared to the right, was wondering if all the vrs cars have it the same way or mines 'special' and needs to go the dealer !!

nintendo wii is so cool

Erm, just a thought but have you tried comparing it to the ones in the back of the car? Maybe the fronts are shorter than the ones in the back?

Other than that I'm not sure.

yeah i did , the back ones are much smaller in size..

On mine the rear seat headrests are much larger in height compared to the front seat headrests, no idea about the legs though...would have to check that.

My rear headrests are larger too. When I got my car, the drivers head rest had been swapped with one of the rears. I have read since that people sometimes swap them deliberately as the rear (larger) headrests give better whiplash protection. I don't know how true that is, though.

Thats weird..the only thing i can think of is cost cutting by skoda for india, 3 smaller headrests in the rear opposed to 2 larger in the front..i'll check with the dealer when i service it next time.

VRSPhil speaks the truth.

I've swapped my front headreast for the back two. They're larger and project further forward than the smaller original front headrests. Perhaps not as stylish, but I seriously doubt any non vRS driver would ever notice anyway.

I've swapped mine too, as it also gives a better view out of the rear window.;)
