Retro fit MP3 stream into MK1 Octavia? also MFD

Just got a Mp3 Stream unit Thought it would fit into my Mk1 when I removed the original Symphony and storage box below to make space for a double Din.

Well the electrical connections I could have got round I think.

But as for getting to fit the hole is another matter. Has anyone tried and succeeded.

Would the mark 2 center dash consul fit in?

If not possible then this unit may be up for sale.

Would any of the MFD units fit a Mk1 and also allow the Playing of MP3's? if so which one to buy don't want to make the same mistake twice.
