Well 70 miles later and my new Fabia Vrs has suffered it's first two stone chips on one of the rear doors :confused:

Any recommendations for repair? the chips aren't that bad just annoying.

Should I get in a chips specialist? or bodge away with a touch up stick?

If you don't mind the paint looking a bit patchy on close inspection, use a touch up stick as it will be very cheap.

If you want it to be done to make it look like new, pay ChipsAway or someone to fix it...I'd imagine something like a couple of stone chips would be less than

Whatever happened to this self repairing paint the japs were developing specifically for bonnets/stne chips,,that I read about 3/4 yrs ago. :idea: colin

Was it tartan in colour?

Applied Ombrello to my windscreen today after spending about 1 hour cleaning it thouroughly. About 10 chips on the windscreen too as well as the odd body chip :thumbdwn:
