Featured Replies

Hi mates :)

I searched forum , and i didn`t found similar thread to this :) ....

I found on ebay company which making number plates , so I`m highly interested to change my plates ... (my own font, design and badge) What about law ?? Is something against this ?

f.e -> CheapestPlates.co.uk | For all your number plate needs!

Please help me ;)

There are loads of rules about it, legal plates are within a restricted number of fonts, spacing is according to rules, etc etc.

yes ;)

Yep, they are, sorry! :o

Could always chance it and stick your legal plates in the boot in case you get pulled. I wouldn't personally.

Thing is they are too obviously illegal - so it wouldn't last long if there are any number plate recognition runs about where you live - when I had my RTA on 3rd of Aug I was sat in back of a police vehicle for quite some time whilst awaiting recovery vehicle, and they use a number plate checking thing to see if cars are insured/taxed/reported stolen etc. If it doesnt recognise it, it gets filed and reviewed later on.

If you get the plates you might want to ask a Mod about putting briskoda.net on them for when you get pulled as I wouldn't think they would want the site associated with a load of cars pulled for illegal plates ;)

Ehhh ... it makes me sad :P .... so at this time i`ll live that which i have ... and later maybe i`ll make new with Skoda logo only and briskoda web adress and normal font ... :( Thx 4 help

No idea, as I'm not a mod, just saying you might want to ask them before you splat their address on a plate.

Of course that I will ask :) ... for the first I will go to the shop and i will ask what i can change in standard plate :)

The Dragon background design is very definately illegal, as is the font. The one that your existing plates are in is the only legal font and size.

Technically, your plates should bear the name and post code of the manufacturing/assembling company, where you've got the Briskie website address. Of course, you could get a set of "decorative reflective signboards" made up, using the correct font and carrying the Briskie details, and I'd be most surprised if anyone even noticed (other than if they wanted to note the web address).
