Hi Everyone,

I think that the battery in my key fob has gone. It started working at extreme ranges for about 2 days then has just stopped working. Question is what battery do I need and how do I get in to the key to replace it?

Bizarrely it has started working all on its own this morning?

The key for my Octavia gradually got worse and worse until I had it almost pressed against the window before it worked. Took it apart to change the battery and found it was full of dust and muck, cleaned it out and it worked perfectly afterwards.
