Just ordered a new Octavia vRS in silver but noticed on the order form and the brochure that 'diamond silver' is being replaced by 'brilliant silver' in August.

Does anyone know what the difference is (if any) between these two colours or is it just the name of the colour that's changing? Surely silver is silver at the end of the day?!

I looked at both on Friday and could hardly see the difference. Brilliant silver perhaps looked slightly lighter than diamond silver but my wife disagreed and reckoned that the difference was too slight to notice. We were concerned because we collect a new L&K in diamond silver next week.

I've ordered a silver vRS too. Sales bloke said the new one is a touch lighter but that you'd never notice unless the two are side by side.

I'm not getting mine until late Oct / Early Nov. Would be interested to hear from you when you get yours to hear your opinion on the colour.
