Replace gear lever!

Hi everybody!

I have bought a vrs gear lever to replace my oem fabia 1.4 tdi poor plastic one. Anybody knows how to? Is it easy?

Yes, I know my car has only 5 , but the lever is pretty. I only want to replace one for the other. Could I?

should be fine, i've been told there is a little clippy thing, remove the gaitor at the bottom and fold it up and over the gearknob and see whats going on from there really, sorry but its the best i can do :)

As vague as that sounds above that is pretty much all there is to it. Did mine last weekend and all you do is pop the gaiter, to get to the clip loosen the clip I used a screwdriver to bend it out of shape. remove the old gear stick, pop the new one one and tighten the clip using a pair of pliers.

Yes Bengie, I have remove the gaitor as you say, and I have seen the clip... I could like to know if anybody knows exactly how to.
