Octavia vRS in white

Featured Replies

I'm becoming rather taken with the Leon FR TDi which can be ordered in white and is cheaper, this would be to my advantage for Company car tax. Once I get a definate go ahead i'll be test driving both.

Leon FR in white with 18s' or Octavia vRS in Race Blue with 18s'

I looked at both, but found the Seat very uncorfortable (even on 17" wheels) with rock hard suspension that made it difficult to put the power down and tiring to drive on anything less than perfect tarmac - but it is cheaper and can be ordered with a bluetooth phone kit.

Although my VRS TD estate has the 18" wheels, the ride is much better, though I may improve it further by fitting the Koni FSD's that are much praised here and on other websites (could do with someone putting a group buy together - any takers??).

Cheers, I had read somewhere else about the suspension on the Leon being quite firm. I've done 50k over the last two years mostly motorway so don't want anything that bashes my brain about too much! Will have to test drive one and see how it feels.

Both of the white vRS are for sale, there is one at Preston and one at Colne (both Simpsons).

I have had the pleasure of driving the one at Preston as we had it brought over for us and I can honestly say that this car IS quick, very quick, but after driving re-mapped MK1 vRS's both APR and REVO, I don't think that it is as quick as a 285bhp car should be, but other than that a very nice example of a very rare car.
