Tuning box

Featured Replies

a few on here have used them , its basically a resistor in the box which fools the PCM into thinking the outside temperature is cold , and hence pumps more fuel in , which equals more go , bit expensive though , £55 for a 10p resistor and a couple of plugs, bit of wire and a plastic box

agreed, its just a resistor, you can tell its not a proper digital tuning box (like dragon) because it doesn't have a power feed....

I used a simple resitor box though for about 50k of the 80k time I spent with my vRS... (bought for £5 from a member on here) it gave approx 150bhp by overfuelling... only damage it did was killing the EGR valve, and it smoked badly....

cheap bang for buck if its £5 , but NOT at £55..... save a bit more, and pay angel tuning £300 for a remap
