Whos at fault

Featured Replies

Can i ask for some help?

i was about to pull onto my drive and i noticed next door daughter blocking my drive she then moved her car the other side to let me on but as i have turned in the road to back into(i had not started to move so i was stood still) my drive she reversed her car into mine she got out and said i am really sorry i did not see you. then after calling her insurance they have truned round and sais she is saying its not her fault. she then came into my house and had the cheek to say she dose not know who is at fault but if she reversed into me would not mean she is at fault???

Any advise would be greatful

Well, her insurance company is obviously totally mis-informed.... There's no way it could be your fault. They're either not in full possession of the facts, or trying to pull a fast one for some reason...

I am very sorry i did not see you , in my eyes is an admission of blame on her part But the insurer or her insurer is not going to admit liabilty thats for sure but if she has hit a vehicle that was parked or still is even more an act of liability i would pass the details and circumstances to your own insurer let them sort it out that is what you pay it for, But i would say you are blameless despite what the offender has said,

your still, she is reversing. her fault.
