Milltek sports cat for Octy VRS

Featured Replies

Folks,

I have a number of goodies to fit to the octy starting this week.

FSD Shocks, new Springs, Whiteline anti roll bar, MFD Sat nav, reversing sensors and a Milltek sport cat. Can't wait. :D

Yes its the cars birthday and this lot has been purchased over quite some time. Just never had time to fit.

I did not get any gaskets with the exhaust. :( I think the part number is 1J0253115R if someone can confirm please. Also the exhaust has 2 holes for the sensors. Are both these used, as I think I need a blank for one. Again where can I get ths blank from or can I use an alternative bolt/washer. ???

Cheers

Both holes are used in the exhaust down pipe.

Two sensors will need swapping over (one is befor the cat, the other is after).

Yes that is the correct gasket part number. When i got Blueflame the fitter just put sealant around the old gasket,it worked great.:D

Seems a bit odd just getting a sports cat? Id have just gone for the remap!

Maybe he plans on getting a remap after the exhaust is fitted therefore letting the remap to make use of the exhaust.I presume Mr Bowders already has a system fitted too.

Thanks for the comments folks.

I have a remap already and a full cat back milltek. I may need to get the remap sorted again later.

Managed to order the gasket through the local SEAT dealer, same part number beleive it or not for the 1.8T engine.
