Same old issue, I know, but I think I have one new question to it. At least couldn't find answer by search...

So here it is: What is the size of the rivets which are used to hold Fabias front door carriers in place? Or how big is the hole for them?

I'm planning to replace the rivets with "blind-nut" (sorry, don't know the english word for those...) and suitable bolt. It would help if I knew correct size for those before I drill off the rivets. So maybe somebody who has bolted carriers in his Fabia might know the size for the bolts???

10mm headed bolts on mine

Yeah M6 bolts as standard on the ones that bolt up.

They switched to rivets to make sure the correct pressure was applied to the carrier to get it to seal.

Ok, thanks guys.

I just took of the carrier yesterday, and I drilled of the rivets and then replaced them with "blind-nuts" or what the heck are those called...

So now I have M5 stainless steel bolts where the rivets used to be, so it will be much easier to remove the carrier in the future.
