Busted wing mirror!

Featured Replies

Last night my better half came home with the words "Can you go outside and look at the wing mirror for me?" Bit strange, immediately replied with "Why, what have you done!?", obviously! It seems a nutter was driving in the opposite direction, going a bit too fast in the dark, on the main road to our place which has a temporary surface at present (not looking too good is it). Nutter came round a bend, started to drift onto wrong side of road. Then as he/she passed by, 'BANG', entire driver side wing mirror shatters into multiple shards of plastic, not much left of it. Nice. I only hope nutter's wing mirror is totally f****d as well. Here's the thing. Don't intend on handing over to Skoda another extortionate amount of money (re; servicing!!)for one electric wing mirror. Five years ago I needed a new electric mirror for my Corsa GSi, Vauxhall wanted approx.

Butts, who are pretty cheap, are selling official Skoda electric mirrors at

Thanks KentStu, I did check out Butts website but wasn't able to find any mirrors shown online. Maybe they are listed in their main catalogue rather than on the website? I'll give them a bell,

Either get it painted or buy chrome or carbon covers from them

:D
