UK parts supplier/Airbag & climatronic fault codes help

Featured Replies

I have the following codes and wondered if any of y'all have dealt with similar.

In particular, for the UK RHD Octavia mk1 (elegance tdi estate, 110) has anyone replaced the Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor and know it's location? I suspect it's on the left under the glove box and controls the air recirculation, am I right?

Finally it's indicating the airbag on the pass side is diasbled, is this a button on the dash function or some other reason? How is it re-enabled?

PS I need a UK supplier of parts such as N75 valve, flap motor etc - can anyone recommend one without needing the Stealer?

Greg.

The airbag will probably have been disabled by a dealer at some stage.

The flap motors are quite notorious, Lummox is probably your best person to ask.

If you don't want to use a dealer then German Swedish & French are probably your best bet. Don't forget discounts for Freedom Members.

The airbag can be enabled with the correct code and information.

If that information to enable the airbag is forthcoming if I pay for freedom, I'm happy to do so.

The airbag can also be switched on and off by using the ignition key on the switch at the top of the glovebox ( it can on my Elegance)

It might do although such safety related information is closely guarded.

I don't think the switch is fitted to all models.
