When I come to un-screw the aeriel, It only seems to get to a certain point then it won't budge. My friend wit his Ibiza sport said you just have to pull it, but I daren't

Yup, did mine on the Ibiza for the Honda S2000 aerial

You really do just unscrew it and then pull as hard as you can.

you dont even need to pull it hard, just a sharp tug and it comes off in your hand.
