Rear Brake Prices

Featured Replies

Just done a quick poll of dealer to find an all inc. price for:

rear discs + Pads + New Brake Fluid

Clock garage (Derby) £205

Gordon Lamb (Chesterfield) £185

Farmers (Nottingham) £255

quite a variation in price.

ARE THESE LIKELY TO CAUSE MY BRAKES TO 'MOO' OR SQUEAK? (been reading the various threads of brakes)

Did my rear brakes the other day. Got genuine discs for £16 each and some ferrodo pads for about £9. Bargain

Took me about 1hr to do and i even changed a rear wheel bearing in that time too.

That said i am quite good with the old spanners. Youve got to 110% know what your doing when brakes are conserned (sp?), so if you are in any doubt to your ability leave it to the dealers :D

If you do decide to do the rear brakes yourself, I did write up a guide a little while ago :)
