Does anyone know if there have been any software updates for the DSG in the Octy 2?

Mine could do with an update, yesterday I nearly got crushed by a truck which did not indicate correctly at a roundabout, the kickdown took nearly 2 seconds to change gear and rev up the engine so I could get out of his way; I was not impressed with this at all !

True. I've now started using the sport mode on some local roundabouts that I know you have to be away smart or you'll be there all day.

Also, and I agree it's no fault really of the car, more the other drivers, but I've had some situations where other drivers have thought that I was letting them go as I wasn't moving much but of course I am waiting for the turbo to spool up and then I'm away but so has the other car and there have been a few dodgy moments.

I find I get no delay if I put it into N while waiting to go and when ready to go just knock into D and we're off.

It seems to me that if one keeps it in D with the foot brake on for more than a second or two it is much slower away.

Try it and see.
