I love the fact that the KW's are hard but I think the big arm chairs in the Superb keep the ride comfortbale? Don't you think?

Wasn't aware of the engine sizes but I am sure you could get more power out of the 115....

What are your future plans for the Superb?

It's a real salon , a superb, love the car  the chairs are great

I hope so... I was used of the 130Hp and now the 115hp, it's a little less.. My previous car (audi A4) was a 130hp. miss that.

Future plans...

I've got some new wheels in mind but I don't know if I can fit them.

Race Inc. 19" RPK 629 Wheels 19x8.5 et 45mm and 19x10.5 et 52mm...

and glasscoating...

If I can Find a original Navigation I replace it..

You spot on with the 'real saloon' comment.

I am looking at changing to an A4 at the moment....just want to get good money for the Superb though.

You will be fine on the front with the ET on those wheels but the ET on the rear may be a problem? 10.5......sound awesome!!!

Just looking for new rims for my superb. what offset should they be then? I'm thinking current rs4 18's in onyx black from velocity motoring. Car is titan grey. would love 19's but car is used for airport transfers so a bit of comfort still needed and need to consider cost of tyres. Want to keep a VAG factory look. Any other ideas? anyone good with photoshop!!!

Ben.

For the Superb you need to keep a sensible offset around ET35 so I assume the rims your looking at are similar.......

I obviuosly have some black 18's for sale at the moment but it would be away from your OEM look:

Have just seen the Audi R8 alloy!!! Available in 8x18 with a 5x112 pcd and 45mm offset. You recomended 35mm Baker. I know nothing about offset! Will these fit? Any opinions on what they'll look like?

Thanks Ben.

That is a tasty looking car, with the lowered suspension it really is the dogs ********. I hadn't realized until I started looking at them a few days ago, what an excellent vehicle the Superb is.

About the new rims,

I really hope that I can fit them...

but I need some spacers,adaptors to go from 5 * 130 to 5 * 112

I think they are some 2cm thick so the offset goes to et 32.

If not, than we are using some heavy equipement to let it fit :D

Hi mate, I've posted a few shots of your cars over on the Vectra C.Com site, hope you don't mind, I know I should have asked first but I'm a bit strapped for time today, here's the link, and if you know any Vectra/Signum owners in your country point them that way they will be very welcome to join the site.

Owzabout These Then - Vectra C / Signum Owners' Club Forums

P.S I've linked some of yours as well Simon, if either of you want them removed call me and I'll have admin take the thread down.

Regards Ian.

Sorry but I can't reply to this thread at work because of the title of the thread.....our servers think it's something dodgy....

Anyway the larger the offset then the closer into the wheel arch the rim will sit and the smaller the offset the further out the rim will stick.

So the recommended offset for the Superb is ET35 which means the ET45 would still into the wheel arch a further ET10 which may or may not cause problems.

Check here for further information:

Alloy wheels, wheels, onformation on wheels, offset, wheel offset, wheel sizes.

The A4 looks great mate and I was thinking of doing something similar to the Superb tailgate, are you going to do the same thing? I assume you just opened the boot on the A4 from the keyfob or did you rig up a solenoid?

The only thing I am not keen on the A4 is the exhausts.....

As for the new wheels adaptors will be easy to source and if you can get some with that thickness then it won't be a problem.....I really look forward to seeing the results if you get it sorted!!!

Interesting to see what people think of the Skoda's as the Signum is in the same category as the Superb.....

Could have picked some better pictures of mine though mate.....LOL!!!

Looking at how the thread has gone most ppl have taken the time to admire yours and Robs cars. but hey! it's that kinda site, ***** are soon removed by admin, why not nip over Simon, there are lots of ppl to chat with about mods etc, they don't care if it's a Vx car, they appreciate car lovers, and you just will not find a more helpful friendly forum on this planet, I did link threads so they could see all the shots posted btw.

I would make those wheels fit mate or the second set but the 3rd set and the RS4's are a no no from me......the Porsche wheels look great.....are they genuine or copies?

I think that the wheels will fit on the inside but you would have to have the suspension and ride height perfect for them to clear the rear arches on the outside....

I think either set will look good but the top ones are my preference.

Your photoshop on the bottom one looks good and I love the fact that the door handles have all been removed including the front number plate recess and badge section.....not too sure about the bonnet though.....what would you do to the rear? Something similar to what you did with the A4?

Like both the last 2 you've done. Beginning to wish i could put 19's on mine but no, i can't!! Don't suppose you fancy doing a photo shop with some RS6 alloys on there do you! Really want to keep that oem look just with a bit extra! Quite like the RS4's just not sure if there a bit to open, same with the R8's.

Such a difficult choice and not a cheap mistake if you get it wrong!

@Ben Smith

In the weekend I'm going to make some pics with RS6 wheels, than I'll post them

Robert

Will look great on either set of porsche rims

I really like the de-badging Rob and the front grille, is it a replacement one? and where did you get it from?

I saw some chrome strips the other day for the two trims where you'd normally expect fog lights to be, think they'd look really neat as well, I'll try and find the link for them.

Here they are.
