Right, need to replace window clip as has broken and window slides down nice and freely (hopefully no thieves reading) Have taken door card off but how do you get the metal panel behind the door card off?!

drill the rivets out , beyond that , i've no idea sorry

Should be several 10mm brass bolts holding a metal plate on, remove them then pry metal plate, put screwdriver behind plate to pry it away from door, it will seem a bit sticky but it will come off .

First remove the window glass. This can be done by first removing the large gromet in the middle of the silver carrier, then with the window in the down position there is a plastic role pin. this can be removed by screwing in a small bolt and pulling then doing the same with a larger thread bolt to remove the remaining part. The window seal will then need pulling out and the window glass can then be withdrawn.

Then depending on year it will either have bolts or rivets. remove these in a suitable manner and lever off the carrier. Refitting is the reverse process.

How did you get the window winder off? Can't get mine off.

To take the window winder off squeeze and then pull the wee ring separating the winder handle from the door card. It'll all come off in one piece.
