Yesterday I took a sales deposit on my cherished 4x4 1.8T hatch - 'Shrek' as it has been affectionally known as for the last two and a bit years of ownership. I thought it only fitting to post a few photos of the car before she goes later this week.

Thankfully she is going to a fellow Briskodian; a real enthusiast and altogether nice chap - UncleRic - who Im sure will look after her as well as I have. (e'd better!) :P

The Mk1 has never ever let me down and been one of the best cars Ive ever owned - combining sleeper looks, good all round performance and great traction.

Makes it that more special being that colour.

At least I can say Ive owned one of the most underated cars on the road today and as I said, Im so pleased its going to someone else who appreciates it.

I don't think FocusZtec has stopped crying yet, last I heard he was about to jump off the stairs wailling "What have I done..."

Who would have thought, he had a nightmare selling a Black Ford Focus over months and months...:confused:
