I regularly pass a car wash on the A449 near Wombourne in Staffs. I have noticed that for some time they are retailing Bio Diesel for a round 70 something pence per litre.

I wonder if anyone can answer a few quetions,

Is this stuff just re constituted old filtered cooking oil?

Is it sold with some sort of BSI standard?

Does it cause any long term problems like clagging up injectors?

Any comments or advice would be most welcome

grab a copy of this months 'car mechanics' mag from wh smiths it has a whole feature on this subject.

Also try googleing bio diesel and some good info on sites from there.
