Central Locking System

Featured Replies

I close the car door, Drivers side. Ignition key removed.

After about 40 seconds the central locking system automatically locks the doors even though I have not pushed any keyfob buttons.

Unlock the car doors using keyfob and then wait another 40 seconds and car doors automatically lock again.

This only happens twice but never a third time in succession, Could it be my car or is this normal.

Not sure about the initial locking on it's own but if you unlock the car and don't open a door it will auto re-lock (in case you pressed the button by accident).

Maybe a faulty door contact though? Does the interior light work correctly on all doors?
