Cheers! I searched the Skoda website, but that is the most difficult website on the net to navigate. I think you need a qualification in dodgy web design to understand it!

Anyway, it looks from that table as though the recommended oil is Shell Helix Ultra VX 5W30. Have I interpreted it correctly?

You have but any oil that matches the VW spec quoted will do :)
