Clean looking motor:thumbup:

Star remap c.£575, Bonus:D

short vRS badge? try get your hands on newer r/lights it'll make the car look younger.

Most of all ENJOY:D

Lose the silver trim it really cheapens the car:thumbdwn: IMHO

If it were a corsa it would look good (opens floodgates and retires to safe distance)

and obscure your plates when posting photo's just to be safe!!

What is this Shorty VRS badge??

and how much for new lights?

Rear vRS badge shortened during production around time rear lights were changed. youngSyd could get you a price if you ask nicely. Won't be cheap

Leather's £800ish

you might manage springs & wheels/tyres for same money unless shocks are originals. Then it would be an idea to change them

this badge is from an 06 and looks the same as mine?

It is the same as yours mate,

On the 03 and 53, maybe even the 04 they used the Octavia vRS flash and it was about an inch longer, they reduced the length of it so it fitted neatly under the word Fabia, I think what he was getting at above was that since you have the shorter badge you should go for the facelift lights too, but I think the badge size got smaller before the facelift anyway.

Oh right okay, yeah i agree about the rear lights they DO look MUCH better but i dont wana spend anything stupid on lights if mine work lol.

Im interestred in a Cupra splitter also whats the price of these?

Also was thinking of re fitting the FABIA badge to the bk?

Wondering if it was a former Brisky car then - with a just a rear vRS badge (Fabia one removed) and the interior trim change? :rubchin:

Not sure about the interior trim TBH - looks a bit 'much'.

With that remap, I'd go for 312mm brakes and Eibachs first, before looking at leather etc. Maybe look at uprated dampers as well? Oh, and a Jabba ARB isn't a bad idea (do a search for all of these bits, for loads of info)

yeah i have thought about that sort of stuff

but i think the standard brakes are quite good anyways and i really didnt buy the car for the speed aspect.

I have however got on order a pd160 trumpet and a green cotton filter replacement to help it breath!

You've got a switchable Star map, and you're getting the usual PD160/green combo. But you're not gonna use the performance....

Yeah, whatever ;)

Just looked at one of your other posts comparing the pd130 to the pd160 intake, my car has the 160 intake on it already!

but i have already bid on one on ebay :thumbdwn::eek:

Glad my thread was of help

I wouldn't worry about it really. If you do win, there's always members looking for the upgrade parts.

Yeah there is that i supose

I had to fit cable ties to it before as i noticed one of the rubber hoses was rubbing on it!!

I think i may have a former Brisky car here

PD160 intake

Star Remap

Dodgy Interior

New VRS badge and FABIA debadge

least it has the Brisky badge on it now - i hope to become a valued member once i get my knowledge up!

Very nice looking vrs in black magic, that seems to be quite a popular colour with the Vrs

David

Car looks great. The silver bits, I'm unsure of too. They may look cheap and tacky, but if they're good quality and not horrible plastic, might not be that bad after all!

Well, you can always join Freedom at which point you'll get another briskoda.net badge and you will automatically become a "valued" member :D :P

Regarding your options, I'd also go for the bigger brakes. As others have suggested, if you want to change the springs, you might as well change the dampers at the same time so you have a matching setup. Koni FSDs are highly rated (although I don't have them). Have a look around and don't be afraid to use the search function. Lots of info in these forums

Heyyyy looks very similar to mine!

Mine is an 04 and has the short vrs badge too... maybe we got the same batch?!

How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?
