My '00 1.9 TDI Elegance

Featured Replies

Hi people.

I'm from Sanlucar de Barrameda (Andalucia; Spain) (Beach Horse Races, Barbadillo,....)

I have a 1.9 TDI Elegance.

I bought it on 2006 august 17 (2nd Hand)

It was (and still is) perfect.

It has 90600 km (now +123500)

Very good fuel consumption (5'6 litres/100 km)

No water consumption, 1 oil litre/20000 km

Very good behaviour

Very good features

I have installed the left (driver) underseat drawer, right (passenger) were oem in my fabia

Also the genuine trunk side bags (recommended)

Two elastic nets (non genuine)

A big trunk bag (non genuine; sumex)

And a 2kg fire extinguisher in the trunk

I had also wired the right rear fog light (in spain the fabia only has activated the left rear fog lamp)

I will install a carputer soon

Thats a clean car, Straight panels good going, Most Spanish cars i've seen sport damage of some sort!

Only one wired rear fog from factory in all markets

You'll have as much fun as vRS owners keeping the interior clean

Very clean looking car mate.

This interior gets dirty faster than the speed of light

Know how that feels:D, Having a 3 year old boy doesn't help:eek:

He's a dirt magnet & SWMBO thinks i'm being anal when i take his shoes off before putting him in seat. Women just don't get it:D

As winter approaches I think I'm going to invest in a set of seat covers and place my travel rug on the back seat, cos these white seats won't stay white very long.

I love the white seats but not sure now over these coming winter months.

Let me know if you find a set. So far i've bought 2 set for the fronts, The bolsters just laughed at them:mad:

First set's in SWMBO's car Second's in Father-in-laws

Could get the tailored ones, But can think of better things to spend 140 quid on:D

Will do mate, don't fancy paying £140 either, I could use my grandads trick when he was a plumber and use black bin bags, it seemed to work on his cars.
