Engine transplant

Featured Replies

My 1.8 20V SLXi Estate is in need of a power hike. Does anybody know if the 5.2litre V10 from the Audi S6 will fit? I did consider the W16 from the Bugatti Veyron (also owned by Volkwagen) but I was concerned that my fuel consumption would suffer too much. Also perhaps 1001BHP is a little high for front wheel drive and I don't want the hastle of switching to 4 wheel drive.

You are joking right

No problem, you'll have plenty of room to get the engine in once you've folded down the rear seats. I would put plenty of cloths down though first, you wouldn't want engine oil and the like to leak over your interior trim! :D
