VRS coolant gauge misreading- advice needed!

Featured Replies

Alright there Fabia Vrs lovers. can anyone help me with some advice, my coolant light comes on the dash in the morning when the car is cold. i've checked the levels and they're fine and when i turn off the mechanical love of my life the light doesn't come on again (almost all the time anyway). I'm not getting any warning that the car is getting too hot when going along so i think its the sensor. am i right? any one been here before? Its a 53 plate.

Ta in advance, Rob:thumbup:

yeah, loads of posts about this happens on Octavia as well and other VAG cars with the same cooling temp sensor.
