OSX Leopard

Featured Replies

For those who are interested i have been using OSX leopard all morning and i can vouch that it is superb!!!

If you like Tiger, your gonna love leopard.. im officially not allowed to tell you about the new features but they are all good :P

its awesome isnt it!

I cant wait to get it on my personal machine though

My 1999 iMac is not supported. This is the first version of OS X that won't run on it.

Maybe it's time for a new computer! :D

Is there a discount scheme for those of us who have just bought a new iMac 2 weeks ago who would like Leopard? :)

Excellent - ordered :D

I'm quite tempted by this... but what's it like on older G4 (1GHz) iBooks?

ATM I think I'll be better off waiting and getting a new laptop with it already installed :D

They dropped support for the G3, it will run on a G4 but how well i dont know. I used it on a new MacBook today with 1Gb of RAM and it ran much better than Tiger, very smooth.

Expect to need alot of external HDD space to use time machine properly. Even the guys from Apple UK admitted that it eats storage.

The up to date thing is brilliant, you are only paying for shipping apparently.. :D
