Stupid question but needs to be asked:)

The roof antenna when you take it in the car wash you unscrew it down so it fits in the groove on the Vrs, is this correct?

Just that I've not seen a antenna like that before where it unscrews down to the roof.

Is that a serious ask? Take a look where the aerial sits when the boot is fully open.

Edit: Given the thread title I've now assumed it's not.

I stuck it through the car wash last night, but don't think I would do it again, not that it damaged the car or scratched it I do prefer the bucket and sponge routine, that was a one off, even when I got it back from the car wash I polished it and cleaned the bits it missed.

Might take a bit more time but you'll find out in the sunshine tht you've got swirlls all over the car and the paint won't be as bright as it could be.
