Just a bit of a rant at some of the finishing built qualities of the Fabia 1

My VRS in particular seems pretty crap tbh!!

1. Skoda bonnet badge corrosion

2. Rear skoda boot badge corrosion

3. wheel centre corrosion

4 EVEN my cigarette lighter chrome surround is corroded

5. VRS badge on rear corroded

Whats this all about! 3 year old car with less than 40K i should think stuff like this should be immaculate!!

YUp they are pretty rubbish, My wheel centers have been covered with MAs's group buy stickers.

Removed all the badges and painted the chrome grill surround black magic.

JOb done all crappy chrome removed

My badges are ok but ive noticed a few with the covers peeling off and fading.

gonna colour code my chrome grille as IMO chrome only belongs on big US SUV's not little german hatchbacks

Yeah i thought about painting my grille black but i just cant do it!

Theres this lad with a black VRS that i absolutely despise and he has done it to his and i just cant bring myself to copy him!

I made it my mission NOT to get a black VRS but this one was just too good to miss:(

Yup i set out to get a red one and couldnt find one, so i went for this black one i have now.

Ps If anyone wants to swap a red fabia vrs for a black one let me know

My Sept '05/54 vRS with circa 43k miles is on sale soon. Full Skoda history, really nice condition in and out, (was Supagarded at new), just needs slight scuffs on front alloys fettling. Absolutely bog standard, all chrome bits still immaculate and it's in that all-important Corrida Red. Sensible/reasonable offer could do the job.
