2004 Fabia vRS tracking and wheel alignment

Featured Replies

I know, there are 000's of postings, but I can't find the information I need.

What are the toe-in / camber settings for the above vehicle using 17 inch Audi TT wheels with 205/40/17 tyres fitted?

Car pulling to the left at the moment and I want to fit a RARB (and check the tyre pressures) before doing the 4WA.

Thanks, Pat

The settings are factory standard, and shouldn't be affected by the type of wheels. Camber also cannot be altered on the fabia unless someone's started producing some kind of camber bolt kit. All alignment places can change is your front toe (i.e your tracking) The toe on the front should be a total of minimum 0.0, maximum of 2.0 (i.e 1.0 on left and right) - Info taken from my last protyre alignment info sheet.

pulling to the left , basically they all do that , to varying degrees

you cannot individually adjust the camber but you can adjust it to get it even on both sides , and is done by moving the front subframe across , this is a difficult , time consuming job to do and best done by professionals with the correct toolage

Just done my own 4wa on my vrs.

Front toe is 0.00 to +0.05 on each side. (i.e 5 minutes)

As said, camber and castor is adjusted by moving the subframe about, but is a royal PITA to get right...

Nothing on the rear is adjustable...

Also, the machine was telling me to check corner heights between wheel centers to arches to make sure it was sitting correctly, and had to have a full tank of fuel before adjusting anything...

EDIT: And mine still pulls to the left, even after new console bushes...
