I can't say I've seen smoked headlights on any cars. I would guess there would be legal issues if these were oem, so my guess would be diy.

as i thought. ive seen loads of guys on other forums doing it. i think its a diy job. looks good though imo

they usually arent smoked like you get on rear clusters. what they normally do with lights (where allot of the silver parts of the lights arent actually there for makeing the bem pattern) is actually take them apart and paint the non pattern bits black. ive had this done to my vectra lights and they totally change the look of the car!

if you can take the light unit apart fairly easily its a good mod imoa

Done this to my old Cavailer. Just waiting on a pair of 2nd hand headlights coming up, and im gonna give it a try for my fabia :)

You can buy smoked indicators, but not seen smoked Octy headlights yet.

i had an option of buying smoked lens protectors on my old astra, perhaps if you get some lens protectors and lightly tint them with the smoke effect???

yeah a friend of mine has colour coded his for shows. the car looks very aggressive now, and hes left he indicators clear so he can drive there with them on :)
