Anyone know whats the best method of doing the stiff 2 part clip things been trying with mole grips but no such joy.

So what did you lot use?

Meduim set of water pump piliers and a bit of rag so you dnt damage the outside. Part assemble the clip and press it on, then close the clip up with the pliers.

Ah cheers just came home with some clamps going to try that ..then when that fails ill buy some of those

Right just gave it a go and Still no luck ..looks like I am taking it to the garage..Dammit!

It can be a b*tch to get in, but a little persuasion will get ya sorted

Just found out why the things wouldn't fit! the black clips are ment to have teeth but mine must of got some faulty ones been using the car without one of the clips on and the mudflap doesn't seem to move when driving so just wondering if I can miss it off

Spotted these on ebay you think they would be a substitute (obviously will need painting black once installed)
