New Speakers

Featured Replies

Right now I remember why I binned the whole lot of oem ice in my last vRS .

I now need to get something that sounds better. I have uprated the head unit with a Sony Xplod mp3 jobber and I am now considering these for the front Low Cost Car Audio | Pioneer TS-G1749 *TSG1749 - Super deal 17cm Speakers

I need some ideas for the rears as I am unsure of what can sit in the oem place. I currently have the rear tweeters undone (which has saved my ears lol) but I would like a little bit more bass (I am not after making the floor wobble lol) Also I would like them to not break the bank too :D

Cheers

alpine always gets my vote for good sounds.

does this mean youve finally got the turbo thingy sorted?

 long story!!!!!!!! But it did get done!!

so your looking to increase the bass? then id recommend a small sub over small speakers in the rear locations, as for those speakers ive personally not heard them so so cannot comment, but as an alternative the alpine sxe speakers are fairly good.

are you going to amp them?

I am not going down the whole full ice route. My old vRS was a full on mental bass bin  It had a whole lot of Cerwin Vega in it :D This time I just want something that doesn't sound of tin lol

Ive got Alpine's coming for the back and will be running a focal set up up front

My m8 who works for sexton's had this in his vrs sounded brilliant even without a sub..!!!
