Featured Replies

Could I ask for a few pointers on these questions please:-

1. When I rang up my insurance company they said is your car a Fabia 2 or Fabia 2 + I have no idea what they are refering to

2. Does a dieso have a catalitic converter?

3. The tool kit particaly the wheel brace looks very flimsy can I use a different wheel brace with Alloys - never had Alloys before.

4. Still very confused regarding my spair - lots of coloured lines on it (never seen this on any tyre other than a space saver) any restriction on speed with the spair on fabia 2

Hmm not sure but i'll try to answer:

1: They could mean the facelift/ Pre Facelift versions, IIRC it was facelifted for the 04 plate cars so anything newer will be a pre (or 1)

2. Yes it will.

3. Yes - as long as it fits - I have a socket and strong arm bar for mine

4. Coloured lines are on the tyre when new - best way is to look on the side of the tyre , it will have a rating after the size eg; 205/40 ZR 16

The ZR bit is the speed rating - Google search tire speed ratings for a list and see which one you have.

Hope that helps

Steve
