Have been looking for a set of 15 inch steel wheels for my octyI 110 Tdi to fit with snow tyres for the alps this winter.....

Found a set of 6J*15 5 hole wheels apparently from a Mk V golf GTI that were fitted as a temp measure until the car was fitted with aftermarket alloys. Will they fit my octy??

probably not - AFAIK all mk5 Golfs use 5x112mm pcd stud spacing rather than the earlier 5x100mm which you will need

Thanks for that Rich, The PCD is the only thing I don't know about the wheels at the moment but I should know one way or the other once I find out!!

The mk1 octavia is 5x100 pcd, the golf V is 5x112 as per the mk2 octavia which is also 5x112.
