Reading through some posts, it suggests that it's possible to set memory seats, so that when either my wife or I use our key fobs, the corresponding seat position will be set. Is this correct and if so, how do I set this up?

You are supposed to be able to, not that I have exceeded in doing so! I keep meaning to get outside and give it a proper try!

Insert key, turn to contact.

Adjust seat and wing mirrors.

Press SET on the side of the seat.

Press 1 or 2 or 3.

Press SET again and you should hear a beep.

Now you have 10 seconds to remove the key and press unlock.

If this is repeated with the 2nd key, this will presumably result in the seat and mirrors changing when the car is opened with each key?

Same here, but so far we have to turn the ignition on and then press the relevant number. It'll be great if we can do it with the key fob.

Thanks, guys, I've managed it.

One thing to bear in mind, is that the seat only moves when the door is opened, so it cannot be tested using different keys, by staying inside the vehicle. I thought it hadn't worked, then Hey Presto, when I opened the door, in frustration, off went the seat!

I use position 1 for a comfortable long distance position

2 for the missus

3 for a sportier driving position, lowered rear of base, slightly forward and lift front squab.

Key remembers position 1

It's taken me nearly three months to get this done. I wouldn't have known about it without this forum!
