Superb handling

Featured Replies

You guys should either drive more carefully or buy a car more suited to the local conditions, I have speed bumps where I live and therefore chose the Octavia over the Veyron, it's simple.

Have to say I have never noticed any issues with mine, although I don't have any particular difficult terrain to negiotiate. I have never grounded out the underside, but I do have standard suspension and 16" wheels so maybe that makes the difference. The only car I had that sort of problem with was VW Vento! :)

What a tart....

lol lol !!!

The Superb already has ARBs front and rear, so the £200 odd for upgraded bars such as the neuspeed don't seem very convincing.

i find the height too high, and i lowered it 30mm on Eibach Pro-Kit.

as for the ARB, the Superbs have only front ARB, hollow ones. They don't have the rears.

i've fitted Neuspeed Front and Rears and they do make the diff. Wonder if the Strut bar would make a diff, but i couldn' take the rolly polly ride and the stiff springs and ARBs cured that. Fantastic to drive now.....

hmm...i think i owe baker21 a pic of the ARBs.... sorry bro, i have been away....

I too am on standard suspension and 16" wheels and have no problem. I recently went to a activity centre right in the middle of nowhere with some tractor tracks dug deep either side of the middle of the road, I had no problem with the Superb, not grinding or scraping. The superb is quite high off the ground and you realise this when you throw it round a corner and you nearly end up on the other side of the car because it wollows....I'll probably lower it next year. After the remap and 17" wheels and the ICE

I've just had a looksee on the Neuspeed site, and there's nothing listed for a Skoda of any kind. I'm guessing you fitted the Passat B5.5 items? Do you have by any chance the part numbers?

Having decided to sell the mk2, think I might have to upgrade my car to be able to cope with the occasional backroad stint... :D
