Featured Replies

Hi everyone, ive owned Skodas all my life and im building a Fabia WRC car and i need help.

Im using a 06 fabia writeoff with no chassis damage,

Fitting a bored out tuned 2.2 Nissan 200SX with a t28 turbo (for good low down grunt)

rear wheel drive

Porsche Cayenne 6pots with Ap 355 discs

Koni 2812 shocks off an F1 car,

Motec ECU

Needless to say it should be awsome.

There was a post this morning from a scrapper with what looked like a '04 flood-damaged black magic; the body panels seemed intact apart from front wing.

Any good?

Think he after orginal skoda WRC parts ;)

ProSpeed have some Octy WRC. Maybe they could help in trying to trackdown some fabia parts?

Yes i know, i dont know how to paste an image on the post

It was Prospeed that put me in touch with George

With prospeed having been an official partner of Skoda WRC at one stage they're probably the best source of details for suppliers.

Genuine WRC panels won't be cheap though.

if you are after an evo spoiler then look on the lancer owners network - they have allsorts of spares.

Engine sounds great - used to own a 200sx (well a 1.8 sx)

Fab cars :D

Try West End in Broxburn, they are a Skoda dealer who had got in some WRC kits before, don't know if they still can.

thats some spec there!!

Sorry mate. The site claims it is the real deal and at 3600 euros it should be. Good luck with the project anyway

Sounds like an interesting project, good luck with the build

Thanks for looking anyway.

As i mentioned on Britishrally.co.uk forum, that kit is not a cheapy one.

Its the Kit Car Version.

Its not aiming to be the WRC kit.

I think ive got hold of a good contact for you, just leave it with me for a few days....(he is in CZ)

Cheers

Thankyou Very much.

Im waiting for i reply from Jan Melsa from motorsport-kopecky.cz

which sounds pretty promiseing, which is a lead i got from Peter at Greentec Racing.

hey there i contacted skoda europe about 2 years ago about a wrc kit and i was told it would be £7500 as the chassis would need work to help cope

I should imagine he's after something more like: (excuse large image size, courtesy of google)
