Car not starting :(

Featured Replies

Had a repair done this weekend after the cluch cable disconnected from the pedal. There was a bracket which snapped off, which also then damaged some sensor (which I'd imagine is some kind of clutch position sensor). Car worked fine yesterday, but now this morning car wont kick into life. Looks like a dead battery - when I turn the ignition the LCD display half disappears and engine not turning over. Radio works but guess thats because it doesnt use much power relatively speaking.

Does anyone know what this sensor does that is situated on the clutch pedal, and can suggest a way to get this fixed if you only have one car in the house and dont have home start :(

cheers.

Push the car around the corner ;) then call the breakdown.

Clutch peddle switch would be available fromt the dealers and shouldnt be too bad to fit.

Just done the brake peddle switch on mine and it wasnt too hard

is it possible it could drain the battery if it was disconnected?
