Long Story Short!

I have to wait for my Octavia vRS TDi. The car bring p/ex'd in has private plates and the DVLA no longer changes the paperwork immediately! They have taken my log book off of me and will send it back "in 2 - 4 weeks time"ish! Maybe!!!!

Anyway, I am having to buy the car outright and then take the PX car down to the dealer in Fareham and they will buy it from me at the agreed value when I have the log book back from DVLA!!!

Also I thought I could get the car today but have to wait until the salesman that agreed the deal is in to hand the car over (Friday!!!) WHY???? AHHHHHHH!

I hope that they aren't still using it for test drives or their own runaround!!!!

Still, I will have to be patient! Fingers Crossed all will be OK on Friday!

So far they have been OK to be honest. I am pleased with the deal and service is OK.

Took less than two weeks to turn my private plate around recently... HTH

I have just bought a vRS from them wont be collecting for a couple of weeks. I have found them to be fine so far (if a little lax on returning your calls). Hoping to transfer my plate but I'm not p/xing so not stresses really.

Returning calls is not a problem so far. Have you had a vRS before? If not, you will LOVE it!

Have had a 1.8t Mk1 Octavia now for nearly 20,000 miles and a year. I have loved every mile. I'm now handing it over to SWMBO, hopefully she will drive it with respect, like I have.............!!! (yeah right!)

Have you gone for petrol or diesel? Did you drive them both?

Few things I enjoy most are that it feels like you are part of a club with a vRS. Other vRS drivers let you pull out and flash you etc etc.... Also I love the look on other drivers faces as you leave them for dead at the traffic lights or pull away from them on the motorway etc etc... especially BMW 323/325's! :rofl:

Petrol, went to sparshatts as I was pointed in their direction by a fellow briskodian (not sure whether he would want me to mention his name) so yes I have a bit of a journey the week after next! I've never owned a vrs before and cant wait!
