octavia elegance gear stick - leather or not? Dealer query.

Featured Replies

hi

got my 1.9tdi estate today... seems good but you have to worry about something when you buy a new car, don't you?

the gear stick/gater is leather on elegance spec? It feels very plastic to me - esp compared to (lovely) leather multi steering wheel. Any thoughts anyone before I pester the dealer?

also dealer said the rear window sunblinds he was going to throw in for free are currently not available in UK - problem over fitting them to estate windows - any thought?

finally - he initially listed first service in the logbook at 10,000 miles - when I queried that he changed it to 20,000...said he'd forgotten that diesels have long life oil so no need to service until 20,000. Either way - car will tell me when?

any thoughts on this approach from dealer?

as I say - you have to worry about something, right?

Cheers:(

Hi and welcome to Briskoda....... :)

It might be worth you posting your questions in the Octavia part of the forum as you'll be more likely to get answers there than here in this part of the forum.

Cheers
