There have been many issues with warped bonnets on cars fitted with these lifters due to the fact that they are too stiff

I made my own instructions for the fitting - PM me with your email address and I will send you the 4 page instructions with nice big pics.

No probs with my lifter! (but then I was cheeky enough to get Skoda dealer to fit at PDI)

Bear in mind, once the lower hinge is unbolted to fit new strut bracket, the heavy bonnet is unstably "supported" by a single hinge. Without a second person to assist at this point the bonnet may slip and damage the windscreen or bodywork or bend the remaining hinge. Also care maust be taken to reaffix hinge in the correct position so the bonnet lies correctly (not of centre/left/right or to far forward/back)
