Has anyone painted the inner chrome trim on there lights black, apart from Jabbaluke?

Its my next little project, just make the front a bit meaner looking i think....

Was it hard to split them?

Ive just looked at some we have in stock, and they seem to be held together with a staple looking thing (Fabia this is....)

Mine we just bonded together and you need to heat them with a hot air gun to loosen the bonding glue and work your way around them,don't know about fabia lights,might be worth pm'ing luke to see what he did with his

I am also interested in this mod - looks the same as the ones on the Fabia WRC rally car - also has inner smoked lights - iv been tempted to just do the outer lights smoked but fear it may look utter ****!

That is my main concern, apartfrom ill use some proper VW type stickaflex to put them back together!
