Lambda probe - where to buy?

Featured Replies

Are you absolutely sure that it's the probe? That dealer price must include VAT and fitting.

More news......the car ran like a pig when cold after being into the dealers - stalling, spitting back. I gritted my teeth and got ready to raid the piggy bank :(:(

Then on Thursday morning it started perfectly, no CEL on. Going like a dream again :D:D.

On an early morning trip on one of my private motorways it gave an average speed of 67 Leptons :):)

So fault gone? Only thing I can think of is a loose connector :confused:

Could be one the way out...I was told they generally deteriorate and get covered in gunk when mine was diagnosed with a faulty lambda. My engine light flashed up occassionally, then went to being on more frequently until it ended up being on all the time.

Mind, that was two years ago, I really should get round to getting it fixed... :D
