New ABD intake filter

Featured Replies

Just replaced my air filter with this rather large K&N..... the original was 6" long tapered from5" to 4"... New filter is 10" long tapered from 7" to 5".

Drives a lot smoother with the bigger filter. Anyone running the ABD intake pipe should upgrade to a filter like this as theirs bags of room in the bumper and it drives SO much nicer.

Just a thought for anyone out there wanting to improve their air flow:)

Not suprised, the old one looks filthy!

Already running the 10" x 8" circular GREEN filter with my ABD Racing CAI. Right git to fit next to the horns.

Steve, why the join half way down the pipe. Mine is one piece to the filter???

That engine bay is minging.........................LOL

Having the join half way down the pipe (I did that myself) makes it easier for taking the filter off, I can simply undo the clip from above and pull the filter and the small section of the pipe out from underneath......nice and east tbh!

Engine bay has been greased up to avoid any corrosion....I will clean it up one day......

Steve:)
