will depend a bit on the size, as additional width will munch into the amount of offset it will tolerate. 7x17" will tolerate ET32-38 . wider rims will reduce the offset allowance, so the 38 end of the range will reduce.

This particular Genuine mk1 Octavia wheel has a ET of 54

As said, alloys of different widths will have different offsets. The Mk1 17" vRS alloys, for example, are somewhere around 35.

So it will depend exactly which 'standard' Octavia wheels you're meaning.
