Following on from a couple of threads recently, it's become clear that there are a few fellow Ex-Cosworth owners who have moved over to the Skoda-side

How many ex-cosworth owners are ripping round a vRS Octy now? ..

I had my 4x4 Sapphire for 7 years of pretty much trouble free racing - sorry.. motoring - fantastic car for the money, I do miss it loads, the Octy doesnt replace it but does offer a lot more creature comforts whilst retaining some entertainment

I dont have an Octy yet - damn things are hard to find in my price range.

but i had an NMS T34 Gunship Sapph and a 4x4 stage 3 sapph.

plus a couple of 911s, 944 turbos and so forth

used to be in the car game buying and selling

brought back around 10 to 15 integrales from germany and a couple of bmw 325 cabs and m3s cheap as chips in germany

14 year on and now its all gone wrong thanks to i.revenue and now im driving round in a skoda :thumbdwn:and a artic:finger: mind you still got the nack as i bought my black vrs for £3500 on a 03 (101k) 1 co owner not the filth

Me to, had a G plate 4x4 Saph in flint grey, sold it to a guy in London in 2004 when I went to work in Iraq for a few months, bought my Vrs when I got back.

To be honest I don't miss the fuel bills of the Cossy or waiting for something to break everytime I gave it a thrashing.

I now have a Suzuki Swift GTI rally car for playing in, so the Vrs gets driven like some middle aged fart is behind the wheel.
