My Octy 2.0 TDi is on Long Life service system. In October 2008 car will have 2 years. Now, my doubt is should I take it at that point to first service, because MaxiDot says I still have 380 days or arround 20.000km untill next service. So, by MaxiDot it will be in January 2009.

What should I do?

Should be 2 years max, or around 18,000 miles whichever occurs first.

Doesn't it need an oil change service after one year? I was planning on taking my 1 year old Octavia ( on free servicing ) for this in the new year.

If it's set on variable, no need to sevrice on 12 months period.
